People

In 1990 the Saxon population of Southeastern Transylvania stood 90,000. Today that population stands at less than 20,000. The Germanic population does continue to leave Transylvania – but recently, and more encouragingly, a few members of this group have begun returning to their ancestral homes. For the sake of preserving the traditions and the beauty of the past, we can only hope that this trend continues.
