The village of Mălâncrav is centered on a timeless atmosphere – the peace, the beauty, the natural wonders, and the unique architecture all making your vacation something truly special. At number 276B, a big beautiful yard cradles the blue colored tiny house, with one double bedroom and one single room which is big enough to be used as a living room. In the yard you will find a covered patio.

Guesthouse 276B in Mălâncrav
Are you planning to host a large group of friends, planning a trip with your extended family, or do you just enjoy having lots of company on your vacation?
Not far away from the village center, at number 276, a big beautiful yard cradles two houses, with accommodations for seven adults and two children.
276B or the Blue House, as it is called by the locals, has one double and one single room.
This house does not have a kitchen. Two lovely local ladies can cook delicious meals for you on request. Both of them live nearby.
If you reserve this house, you will have the entire place to yourself. As 276A might be also booked, you might encounter another small group of countryside enthusiasts in the yard.

Stadtern-Hof house facilities: one double bedroom, one single bedroom, one bathroom, shared yard.
This house does not have a kitchen, but you can ask Mihaela, your host, to cook for you delicious local dishes. She lives right next door.
Please be informed that only one mobile operator has network coverage in Mălâncrav (Digi Mobile). Please note that is best to drink the water your host brings to the house, rather than directly from the tap.

Who we are & what we believe in
This is a guest house owned and managed by the Mihai Eminescu Trust (MET). The MET is a non-profit organization that has 20 years of experience in heritage conservation and the regeneration of villages in Transylvania and Maramureș.
Experience Transylvania is the Foundation’s initiative for the development of cultural tourism and it consists of a network of over 20 traditional guesthouses scattered around beautiful villages such as: Mălâncrav, Florești, Richiș, Biertan, Alma Vii, Viscri, Criț or Breb.
We are here to support the local economy by involving villagers in the restoration and management of the houses and thus showing that, if well preserved, heritage can become a source of growth for the community. Our goal is to empower people and to assist them in creating a sustainable and healthy future, while preserving their cultural heritage and an authentic way of life.
While enjoying delightful local dishes and the peaceful village life, guests staying in our houses unknowingly support our work and are part of this success story. Thank you.
